Why Trek the Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa?

The Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa is a good choice if you want more than a standard circuit itinerary. The route combines the major highlights of the Manaslu region with a quieter cultural experience at Serang Gompa. Instead of moving through the circuit without a dedicated cultural stop, this itinerary gives you time to stay at the monastery, explore its surroundings, and continue toward the higher Manaslu valleys. You also get a Manaslu Base Camp hike and the demanding Larkya La Pass crossing, making the trek a balanced mix of culture, mountain scenery, and high-altitude adventure.

What Makes This Manaslu Trek Different?

  • Overnight stay at Serang Gompa: Spend a night at 3,042 m in a monastery setting rather than staying only in regular teahouses. The following day gives you additional time to rest and experience the area.
  • A deeper cultural experience: The route passes through remote mountain settlements where local traditions and Tibetan Buddhist culture remain an important part of everyday life. The Serang Gompa stay adds more time for cultural exploration.
  • Manaslu Base Camp hike included: From Sama Gaun, the itinerary includes a hike toward Manaslu Base Camp at 4,800 m. It adds a dedicated high-altitude experience before continuing toward Samdo and Dharamsala.
  • Larkya La Pass crossing: The trek reaches its highest point at 5,106 m, crossing Larkya La Pass before descending toward Bhimthang. This is the most demanding section of the itinerary and one of its defining achievements.
  • Remote Himalayan trekking environment: Compared with Nepal’s more established trekking routes, the Manaslu region offers a quieter experience through remote valleys, traditional villages, forests, and high mountain landscapes.
  • A route built around local mountain life: From Machha Khola and Deng to Lho, Sama Gaun and Samdo, the journey passes through settlements that give you a closer look at life in the Manaslu region.

In short, choose this itinerary if you want the Manaslu Circuit’s major mountain challenges but also want more time for monastery life, local culture, and the remote character of the region.

Serang Gompa: The Cultural Highlight of the Trek

Serang Gompa is the defining cultural feature of this Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa. Located away from the busier sections of the main trail, the monastery offers a quieter setting where trekkers can experience the Buddhist traditions and mountain culture of the Manaslu region. Including Serang Gompa in the itinerary also adds a different rhythm to the trek, with time to slow down rather than simply passing through another village.

What Makes Serang Gompa Special?

Serang Gompa provides a closer look at the Buddhist heritage of the Manaslu region. The surrounding communities have strong Tibetan cultural influences, reflected in local traditions, religious practices, architecture, and daily life. Its peaceful mountain setting also makes the stop feel different from a typical teahouse night on the circuit.

For trekkers interested in combining mountain scenery with local culture, the Serang Gompa Trek adds a meaningful cultural element to the classic Manaslu route.

Staying Overnight at Serang Gompa

This itinerary includes an overnight stay at Serang Gompa, rather than simply visiting the monastery during the day. After trekking from Krayak, you reach the monastery at 3,042 m (9,980 ft) and spend the night in this unique setting.

The next day is dedicated to rest and exploration around Serang Gompa. This additional time allows you to experience the surroundings at a slower pace before continuing toward Ghap and the main Manaslu Circuit route.

Serang Gompa Altitude

Serang Gompa stands at 3,042 m (9,980 ft) above sea level. In this itinerary, the monastery is reached on Day 5 and followed by a dedicated day at the same elevation. The stop therefore forms an important transition between the lower sections of the Manaslu Circuit and the higher villages ahead.

Serang Gompa highlights:

  • Altitude: 3,042 m / 9,980 ft
  • Experience: Overnight monastery stay
  • Cultural setting: Tibetan Buddhist influence
  • Itinerary: Day 5 arrival and Day 6 exploration/rest
  • Trek connection: Krayak → Serang Gompa → Ghap
  • Role in the trek: Cultural experience and a slower transition into the higher Manaslu region

Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa Route Overview

The Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa follows a varied route from the lower Budhi Gandaki Valley into the high Himalayan landscape around Manaslu. The journey combines remote villages, a monastery stay, the Manaslu Base Camp hike, and the crossing of Larkya La Pass before descending toward Dharapani and returning to Kathmandu.

Route:
Kathmandu → Machha Khola → Jagat → Deng → Krayak → Serang Gompa → Ghap → Lho → Sama Gaun → Manaslu Base Camp → Samdo → Dharamsala → Larkya La Pass → Bhimthang → Dharapani → Kathmandu

The route gradually moves from lower valleys and forested trails toward the high-altitude settlements of Sama Gaun, Samdo, and Dharamsala. After the Manaslu Base Camp hike at 4,800 m, the trek continues to Larkya La Pass at 5,106 m, the highest point of the journey. From the pass, the trail descends through Bhimthang and Dharapani before the final drive back to Kathmandu.

Manaslu Circuit Trek Difficulty With Serang Gompa

The Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa is a challenging to strenuous high-altitude trek. The difficulty comes less from technical climbing and more from the combination of long trekking days, significant elevation gain, uneven mountain terrain, and the high altitude reached during the Manaslu Base Camp hike and Larkya La Pass crossing. The itinerary also includes several 6–7 hour trekking days, with the longest and most demanding day covering 7–9 hours from Dharamsala over Larkya La Pass at 5,106 meters to Bhimthang.

Several factors make this trek physically demanding:

  • High altitude: The itinerary reaches 5,106 m at Larkya La Pass, with the Manaslu Base Camp hike reaching up to 4,800 m.
  • Significant elevation gain: The route gradually climbs from 930 m at Machha Khola to the high-altitude settlements of Samdo and Dharamsala.
  • Long trekking days: Several stages take 5–7 hours, while the Larkya La crossing can take 7–9 hours.
  • Uneven mountain terrain: Trails include ascents, descents, rocky sections, forest paths, and varied Himalayan terrain.
  • Manaslu Base Camp hike: The 5–7 hour hike from Sama Gaun to Manaslu Base Camp and back adds a demanding high-altitude day.
  • Larkya La crossing: The ascent to the pass requires steady pacing and an early start, followed by a long descent to Bhimthang.
  • Physical endurance: Regular hiking, cardiovascular fitness, leg strength, and the ability to walk for several consecutive days are important.

The difficulty can also vary between trekkers. Previous hiking experience, fitness, pacing, weather, trail conditions, and individual response to altitude all affect how demanding the trek feels. A good training routine and gradual, sensible pacing are therefore important.

Who Is This Trek Suitable For?

This trek is best suited to reasonably fit trekkers who are prepared for sustained high-altitude walking. Previous experience with multi-day hikes is helpful, although technical mountaineering skills are not required for the standard trekking route.

You should be comfortable walking for several hours a day on uneven terrain and prepared for the physical demands of the Manaslu Base Camp hike and Larkya La Pass crossing. Trekkers should also approach the altitude seriously and follow the guide’s advice about pacing, rest, hydration, and acclimatization.

If you are new to high-altitude trekking, proper preparation is especially important. The goal should not be to prove how fast you can walk, but to maintain a steady pace and arrive at each stage ready for the next one.

Manaslu Circuit Trek Altitude and Acclimatization

Altitude is one of the main challenges of the Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa. The itinerary gradually moves from the lower Budhi Gandaki Valley toward the high Himalayan sections, reaching 5,106 m at Larkya La Pass. The route includes planned rest and acclimatization periods at Serang Gompa and Sama Gaun, helping trekkers adjust before the highest sections of the trek.

Location / Stage Elevation Role in the Itinerary
Machha Khola 930 m / 3,051 ft Starting point of the trekking route
Jagat 1,410 m / 4,625 ft Early elevation gain
Deng 1,800 m / 5,905 ft Gradual climb through the Budhi Gandaki Valley
Krayak 2,290 m / 7,513 ft Overnight stop before Serang Gompa
Serang Gompa 3,042 m / 9,980 ft Monastery stay and acclimatization
Lho Gaon 3,180 m / 10,433 ft Upper Manaslu region
Sama Gaun 3,530 m / 11,581 ft Main acclimatization base
Manaslu Base Camp Hike Up to 4,800 m / 15,746 ft High-altitude acclimatization hike
Samdo 3,690 m / 12,106 ft High-altitude settlement
Dharamsala 4,470 m / 14,665 ft Final overnight stop before Larkya La
Larkya La Pass 5,106 m / 16,752 ft Highest point of the trek
Bhimthang 3,720 m / 12,204 ft Descent after the pass

The itinerary includes a dedicated day at Serang Gompa on Day 6 after reaching 3,042 meters. This provides time to rest and become accustomed to the higher elevation before continuing toward Ghap and the upper Manaslu region. Day 10 at Sama Gaun is another important acclimatization day. The itinerary includes a 5–7 hour hike toward Manaslu Base Camp, reaching up to 4,800 meters, before returning to Sama Gaun for the night.

These planned stops are particularly important because the trek continues to Dharamsala at 4,470 m and then crosses Larkya La Pass at 5,106 m. Acclimatization can reduce the strain of rapid altitude gain, but it does not eliminate the possibility of altitude-related illness.

How to Prepare for High Altitude

Good preparation can make the higher sections of the Manaslu Circuit more manageable. Focus on the following:

  • Ascend gradually: Follow the itinerary rather than trying to move faster than planned.
  • Maintain a steady pace: Slow, consistent walking is more useful at altitude than pushing hard.
  • Stay hydrated: Drink fluids regularly throughout the trekking day, while avoiding excessive alcohol.
  • Get enough rest: Use the planned acclimatization days and avoid unnecessary physical exertion.
  • Pay attention to symptoms: Headache, unusual tiredness, dizziness, nausea, or difficulty breathing should not be ignored.
  • Follow your guide’s advice: Your guide can monitor how you are responding to the altitude and advise when to rest, descend, or seek medical help.

Important: Reaching a high altitude does not automatically mean a trekker will have altitude problems. Individual responses vary, so symptoms should always be taken seriously.

Manaslu Circuit Trek Permits

The Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa passes through a government-designated restricted area and the Manaslu Conservation Area, so trekkers need the appropriate permits before starting the trek. The Nepal Tourism Board confirms that the Manaslu Circuit requires a trekking guide and an agency-issued TIMS card, while the Department of Immigration issues the special trekking permit for the restricted Manaslu area.

For this itinerary, Pathfinder Treks handles the required permit arrangements as part of the pre-trek preparation. We collect the necessary trekker information and documents, arrange the permits through the appropriate government systems, and provide the required documents before you enter the restricted section.

Permit / Document Purpose
Manaslu Restricted Area Trekking Permit Required for trekking through the restricted Manaslu area
Manaslu Conservation Area Entry Permit (MCAP) Required to enter the Manaslu Conservation Area
TIMS Card Trekker registration and monitoring for the Manaslu Circuit
ACAP Entry Permit Required for the applicable section of the route

Current Permit Fees

As of August 2026, the Department of Immigration lists the Gorkha Manaslu Area restricted-area permit at USD 100 per person per week from September to November, with USD 15 per person per day beyond one week. From December to August, the listed rate is USD 75 per person per week, with USD 10 per person per day beyond one week.

The Nepal Tourism Board currently lists the Manaslu Conservation Area entry fee for foreign visitors at NPR 3,000 per person per entry.

For TIMS, the Nepal Tourism Board currently lists NPR 2,000 for applicants from countries outside SAARC and NPR 1,000 for SAARC applicants.

“Permit fees are subject to current government regulations and are updated when required.”

Is a Guide Mandatory for the Manaslu Circuit?

Yes. A licensed trekking guide is mandatory for the Manaslu Circuit. The Nepal Tourism Board specifically lists the Manaslu Circuit among the trekking routes where trekkers must be accompanied by a licensed trekking guide and carry an agency-issued TIMS card.

The special trekking permit for the restricted Manaslu area is also issued through a registered trekking agency rather than arranged independently by an individual trekker. The Department of Immigration states that restricted-area permits are issued through listed trekking agencies.

For this 15-day itinerary, you therefore travel with a licensed guide and Pathfinder Treks takes care of the required permit arrangements before the trek begins.

Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa Cost

The Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa costs US$1,425 per person for the 15-day itinerary. For comparison, our standard Manaslu Circuit Trek is US$1,295 per person. The additional US$130 covers the added Serang Gompa section, including the monastery stay and the dedicated day at Serang Gompa.

Manaslu Trek Price at a Glance

Package Duration Price per Person
Manaslu Circuit Trek 12 Days US$1,295
Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa 15 Days US$1,425

Price: US$1,425 per person

The price is based on the current standard package arrangement. The final cost can change depending on group size, departure arrangements, accommodation requirements, porter services, transportation choices, and any additional services requested.

What Affects the Manaslu Circuit Trek Cost?

  • Group size: Private trips and smaller groups can have a different per-person cost because guide, transportation, and other operational expenses are shared differently.
  • Permits: The package price accounts for the required trekking permits and registration arrangements. Government fees can change, so current rates should be confirmed when booking.
  • Transportation: The itinerary includes the road transportation specified in the package. Private vehicle arrangements or upgraded transportation can increase the cost.
  • Guide and porter: A licensed guide is required for the Manaslu Circuit. Porter services can be arranged according to your preference and may change the total package price.
  • Accommodation: The package uses mountain teahouses along the route and includes the Serang Gompa monastery stay. Private rooms or upgraded accommodation, where available, may cost extra.
  • Meals: Meals during the trekking portion are included according to the package arrangement. Personal snacks, drinks, and other additional purchases are generally separate.
  • Equipment: Basic trekking support equipment provided by Pathfinder is included where specified. Personal trekking gear, clothing, sleeping bags, and other individual equipment are normally the trekker’s responsibility.

Why Does the Serang Gompa Version Cost More?

The standard Manaslu Circuit Trek costs US$1,295, while the Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa costs US$1,425. The difference reflects the additional services and logistics required for the Serang Gompa section, including the route variation, monastery accommodation, and dedicated day at Serang Gompa.

For travelers who want the standard Manaslu route with an additional cultural experience, the extra US$130 provides a clear upgrade rather than simply increasing the package price.

For the most accurate quotation, Pathfinder can confirm the current price based on your preferred departure date, group size, and whether you need porter service or private transportation.

Best Time for Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa

The best time for the Manaslu Circuit With Serang Gompa is generally spring and autumn, when the higher sections of the route usually offer more favorable trekking conditions. However, each season has different advantages and challenges. Because this itinerary reaches 5,106 m at Larkya La Pass, seasonal weather can have a major effect on trail conditions, visibility, and the difficulty of the trek.

Season Months General Conditions What to Expect
Spring March–May Generally favorable Mild temperatures, improving conditions at higher elevations, blooming rhododendrons, and good mountain views
Summer / Monsoon June–August Less suitable Frequent rain, muddy trails, possible landslides, cloud cover, and more difficult road access
Autumn September–November Best overall conditions Generally clearer skies, good mountain visibility, stable weather, and comfortable trekking conditions
Winter December–February Cold and demanding Very cold temperatures, possible snow around high passes, shorter comfortable walking periods, and challenging conditions at higher elevations

Spring: March to May

Spring is one of the strongest seasons for this trek. Temperatures become more comfortable as the season progresses, and the lower sections of the route can be particularly attractive when rhododendrons are flowering. Higher sections remain cold, especially around Dharamsala and Larkya La, so proper cold-weather gear is still essential.

April and May are particularly useful months for trekkers who want a combination of improving weather and good Himalayan scenery.

Summer and Monsoon: June to August

The monsoon makes the lower Manaslu route more challenging. Rain can make trails slippery and muddy, while landslides can affect mountain roads and transportation. Clouds can also reduce mountain visibility.

The upper sections may still be possible in some conditions, but summer is not the preferred season for this itinerary. Anyone considering a monsoon departure should be prepared for changing trail and road conditions.

Autumn: September to November

Autumn is generally considered the best season for the Manaslu Circuit. After the monsoon, the atmosphere often becomes clearer, improving views of the surrounding Himalayan peaks. Weather is generally more stable, which is particularly valuable when crossing Larkya La Pass at 5,106 m.

October and November are popular months, so accommodation and permits should be planned in advance.

Winter: December to February

Winter brings significantly colder conditions, particularly above 4,000 meters. Snow and freezing temperatures can make the Dharamsala to Larkya La Pass section considerably more demanding. Conditions around the pass can also change quickly.

Winter trekking may appeal to experienced trekkers who are properly equipped and comfortable with cold-weather conditions, but it requires more careful planning and flexible decision-making.

Which Season Should You Choose?

For most trekkers, March to May and September to November offer the best balance of weather, trail conditions, mountain visibility, and overall trekking experience.

If your priority is clear mountain views and more stable conditions, choose October or November. If you prefer spring landscapes and rhododendron forests, April and May are strong choices.

For this particular itinerary, the most important consideration is not only the weather at Serang Gompa or Sama Gaun. Conditions around Dharamsala and Larkya La Pass should also be considered because they are the highest and most weather-sensitive sections of the trek.

Accommodation and Food During the Trek

Accommodation on the Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa is based mainly on mountain teahouses, with a distinct overnight stay at Serang Gompa. Facilities become more basic as you move into the remote and higher sections of the Manaslu region. Trekkers should expect simple rooms, shared facilities, and limited services compared with hotels in Kathmandu.

Food is provided throughout the trekking days according to the package arrangement. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner generally consist of familiar local and trekking foods, with options varying from one teahouse to another. At higher elevations, food choices can be more limited because supplies must be transported into the remote mountain villages.

Teahouse Accommodation

Most nights are spent in local mountain teahouses along the trekking route. These provide a simple place to sleep, eat, and rest after each day’s walk.

Trekkers should generally expect:

  • Basic rooms, usually with beds and mattresses
  • Shared bathroom facilities
  • Limited hot-water availability in some locations
  • Dining areas where trekkers can eat and relax
  • Simpler facilities at higher elevations
  • More limited accommodation choices in remote sections

Accommodation standards can vary between villages, particularly as the route approaches higher elevations. During busy trekking seasons, rooms can also become limited, so advance arrangements are important.

Serang Gompa Monastery Stay

Serang Gompa is different from a normal teahouse stay. This itinerary includes an overnight stay at the monastery at 3,042 m / 9,980 ft, followed by a dedicated day at Serang Gompa.

The monastery stay provides a more culturally focused experience and gives you time to experience the surroundings rather than simply passing through the area. Facilities are expected to be simpler than standard teahouses, so trekkers should approach this night as part of the cultural experience rather than an accommodation upgrade.

Meals During the Trek

Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are provided during the trekking section according to the package arrangement. Local teahouses generally prepare simple, filling meals suitable for long days of walking.

Common options may include:

  • Dal bhat with rice, lentils, and vegetables
  • Noodles and pasta
  • Rice and vegetable dishes
  • Soups
  • Eggs and breakfast items
  • Bread, chapati, or similar local options
  • Tea, coffee, and other hot drinks

Food availability varies by village and season. As you travel higher and deeper into the Manaslu region, choices may become more limited. Your guide can help you choose suitable meals based on availability and the demands of the day’s trek.

The trail continues deeper into the Budhi Gandaki Valley, passing through forests, villages, and sections of uneven mountain trail. You cross several streams and continue gradually gaining altitude. As the route moves farther from the lower valleys, the surroundings become quieter and more remote before reaching Deng.

Elevation: 2,290 m / 7,513 ft
Trek time: 4–5 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today is a shorter trekking day as you continue from Deng toward Krayak. The trail leads through a quieter part of the Manaslu region, with mountain scenery and traditional settlements along the way. After reaching Krayak, you have time to explore the local village and experience the everyday surroundings before resting for the night.

Elevation: 3,042 m / 9,980 ft
Trek time: 4–5 hours
Accommodation: Serang Gompa monastery
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today you leave Krayak and ascend toward Serang Gompa, one of the defining features of this itinerary. The trail gradually climbs through changing mountain landscapes as you approach the monastery at 3,042 meters. After arriving, you settle into the monastery and have the opportunity to experience its peaceful surroundings and Buddhist cultural setting.

Elevation: 3,042 m / 9,980 ft
Trek time: Leisure and local exploration
Accommodation: Serang Gompa monastery
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Rather than moving to another settlement, today is reserved for rest and acclimatization at Serang Gompa. You can explore the monastery surroundings, experience the local Buddhist culture, and enjoy the quieter mountain environment. The additional time at 3,042 meters also provides a slower transition before continuing toward the higher sections of the Manaslu Circuit.

Elevation: 2,160 m / 7,087 ft
Trek time: 6–7 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

After your stay at Serang Gompa, the trail descends toward Ghap and reconnects with the main Manaslu Circuit route. The day brings a noticeable change in elevation and scenery as you move through forests and mountain terrain. Ghap provides a convenient overnight stop before the route begins climbing again toward the upper Manaslu region.

Elevation: 3,180 m / 10,433 ft
Trek time: 5–6 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

The trail climbs from Ghap toward Lho Gaon through forests and increasingly alpine surroundings. As you gain elevation, the mountain views become more prominent and the villages reflect stronger Tibetan cultural influences. Lho is an important settlement in the upper Manaslu region and offers a good introduction to the landscape ahead.

Elevation: 3,530 m / 11,581 ft
Trek time: 5–7 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today's walk takes you deeper into the high Manaslu landscape. The trail gradually enters an alpine environment with impressive mountain views and traditional settlements influenced by Tibetan Buddhist culture. You eventually reach Sama Gaun, one of the most important villages on the Manaslu Circuit and the base for the following day's Manaslu Base Camp hike.v

Elevation: Up to 4,800 m / 15,746 ft
Hike time: 5–7 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse in Sama Gaun
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today is one of the major highlights of the trek. From Sama Gaun, you hike toward Manaslu Base Camp, reaching an altitude of up to 4,800 meters before returning to Sama Gaun. The route provides closer views of the surrounding Himalayan landscape and gives you a challenging high-altitude hiking experience. Returning to Sama Gaun allows you to spend another night at a lower elevation before continuing toward Samdo and the Larkya La section.

Elevation: 3,690 m / 12,106 ft
Trek time: 3–4 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

The trail from Sama Gaun to Samdo is relatively short but takes place at higher elevation. You continue through an increasingly rugged mountain landscape toward the Tibetan-influenced settlement of Samdo. The shorter walking day provides time to rest while gradually preparing for the higher altitude and demanding days ahead.

Elevation: 4,470 m / 14,665 ft
Trek time: 4–5 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse/lodge
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

Today you climb higher toward Dharamsala, the final overnight stop before crossing Larkya La Pass. The landscape becomes more barren and distinctly high alpine as vegetation becomes thinner. After reaching 4,470 meters, the focus is on resting, staying warm, and preparing for the early start and long trekking day ahead.

Larkya La Pass: 5,106 m / 16,752 ft
Bhimthang: 3,720 m / 12,204 ft
Trek time: 7–9 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

This is the most demanding day of the Manaslu Circuit Trek and the highest point of the entire itinerary. You start early from Dharamsala and gradually climb toward Larkya La Pass at 5,106 meters. The ascent requires steady pacing because of the altitude and terrain. From the pass, you can take in the surrounding high mountain scenery before beginning the long descent toward Bhimthang. Reaching Bhimthang marks a major milestone after completing the Larkya La crossing.

Elevation: 1,860 m / 6,102 ft
Trek time: 6–7 hours
Accommodation: Teahouse
Meals: Breakfast, lunch and dinner

After crossing Larkya La, today's trail continues on a long descent toward Dharapani. The landscape changes considerably as you leave the high alpine environment and return to greener forests and lower mountain terrain. The significant drop in elevation makes the route feel different from the previous high-altitude sections. Reaching Dharapani marks the completion of the main trekking section of your Manaslu Circuit.

Travel time: 9–11 hours drive
Accommodation: Not included unless required by your package
Meals: Breakfast and lunch

The final day begins with a local jeep drive from Dharapani toward Besisahar. From Besisahar, continue by road by bus toward Kathmandu. The long journey brings the trek to an end as the remote mountain landscape gradually gives way to lower hills, towns, and the Kathmandu Valley. After arriving in Kathmandu, your 15-day Manaslu Circuit Trek With Serang Gompa officially concludes.
